Patna: The alleged death of pregnant elephant has triggered nationwide outrage, terming it a painful incident that has put humanity to shame. Sand artist from Bihar’s Chhapra, Ashok portrayed the dead animal juxtaposing with Lord Ganesha.
The art has been made at Seedhi Ghat in Chhapra. He captioned the art ‘Vishwasghat’ meaning ‘betrayal’.
The incident happened in Palakkad district where the elephant allegedly ate a pineapple that was filled with firecrackers. It exploded in its mouth causing serious injuries on its tongue and mouth.
The investigation on the matter is underway.
