Gujarat: Another Congress MLA quits ahead of Rajya Sabha polls

Ahmedabad: Yet in an another blow, one more Congress MLA Brijesh Merja on Friday resigned from the assembly membership ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls in Gujarat on June 19.

Gujarat Assembly speaker Rajendra Trivedi said that he has accepted the MLAs resignation.

Merja is the third Congress MLA to quit in the last three days. He has also resigned from the primary membership of the Congress.
