New Delhi: India recorded the highest single-day spike of 9,996 more coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The country’s total cases now stand at 2,86,579 according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
India also reported 357 deaths in a day taking the tally of deaths to 8,102.
There are 1,37,448 active cases while 1,41,029 have been cured/ discharged/ migrated.
