Kolkata: Several protests broke out in different parts of the country against China after India lost its 20 bravehearts in the violent clash in Galwan valley area of Ladakh. Some demonstrators even burned photos and effigies of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
At the same time, ABVP supporters demonstrated outside the Chinese consulate in Kolkata, raised slogans against China and displayed posters condemning the Chinese government.
In Delhi, 6-7 Army veterans gathered near the Chinese embassy to protest under the banner of Martyr’s Welfare Association.
In Varanasi, protesters under the banner of Vishal Bharat Sansthan burned the Chinese flag and an effigy of Xi Jinping.
