New Delhi: Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain’s condition, who was tested positive for coronavirus, has worsened on Friday. According to latest reports, he has been put on oxygen support after his lung infection increased.
Jain was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital early on Tuesday after he developed high fever and sudden drop in oxygen level.
The AAP government had said Manish Sisodia will take over the responsibilities of Satyendar Jain, including the departments of health, public works department, power and other departments.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, “Praying for the speedy recovery of Shri Satyendra Jain, Health Minister of Delhi who is battling with COVID-19 infection.”
