New Delhi: India recorded highest-ever single day spike of 34,956 coronavirus cases that crossed the 10 lakh mark on Friday. More 687 deaths were reported in the country due to the virus infection, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The total positive cases stand at 10,03,832 including 3,42,473 active cases and 6,35,757 cured/ discharged.
The total fatalities in the country now stands at 25,602.
Maharashtra has the most number of cases with 2,84,281 and 11,194 fatalities.
