Srinagar: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a two-day visit to Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir, visited the Amarnath cave temple and offered prayers today.
Singh tweeted with a video, “Feeling extremely blessed after praying at Shri Amarnathji Holy Cave in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General MM Naravane are also accompanying him.

The Amarnath cave is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism and hundreds of thousands of devotees make an annual pilgrimage to it across challenging mountainous terrain.
