Kulgam: In a dastardly attack, yet another Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sarpanch was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
BJP leader Sajad Ahmad Khanday was fired upon by terrorists outside his residence in Vessu in Kulgam district, following which he was admitted to a hospital. However, he succumbed to the injuries.
This incident comes a day after a sarpanch associated with the BJP in Kulgam was shot by terrorists. Arif Ahmad Shah was shot at around 9.30 pm in Akhran area. He has been admitted to a hospital at Qazigund and his health condition is stated to be stable.
The terrorists have been aiming at BJP leaders for a while now. In July, BJP leader Wasim Ahamd Bari was killed by terrorists.
