New Delhi: In a major development, the Supreme Court on Wednesday has allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation to probe the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The top court also directed the Mumbai Police to cooperate with the CBI and also asked to hand over all evidence collected so far in the case to CBI.
The Bihar government in its submission to the apex court said, “It is apparent that it is on account of political pressure in the State of Maharashtra that neither the FIR has been registered by the Mumbai Police nor did they extend any cooperation to Bihar Police in discharging their obligation to conduct investigation expeditiously.”
Supreme Court has given 3 days’ time to the Maharashtra govt and police to place on record details of their investigation in actor Sushant Singh’s death probe.
It is one such a setback for Mumbai police when allegations had raised that they are trying to divert and nullify the case.
