New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed his grief on the building collapse in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra.
“Saddened by the building collapse in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. Condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for a quick recovery of those injured. Rescue operations are underway and all possible assistance is being provided to the affected,” PM Modi tweeted.

At least 10 people were killed after three-storeyed building collapsed in Patel compound area on Monday morning. Five people have were also injured. 25-30 people are believed to be trapped at the site.
