Chennai: India’s finest and legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam who passed away on Friday was laid down to rest on Saturday at his farm house in Thamaraipakkam village of Thiruvallore district with full police honours.
SPB was given official gun salute by the Tamil Nadu Police by firing 72 shots in the air.

SPB’s passing away has brought a void in the music industry of the country. He was hospitalized for a month initially due to contracting coronavirus. Later he was tested negative. However, his condition deteriorated further and suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest at MGM Healthcare hospital on Friday.
