New Delhi: Shooter Shreyasi Singh and daughter of former Union Minister late Digvijaya Singh is set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party today.
Shreyasi will be joining the party in the presence of Arun Singh and State in-charge Sanjay Jaiswal.
Her mother, Putul Devi, had also contested and won the 2014 general elections. Putul Devi had become an MP from Banka district on BJP’s ticket, and represented it till 2019.
Shreyasi Singh won a gold medal in the Shooting at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia – Women’s double trap and a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
