Barrackpore: In the killing of BJP leader and Titagarh Municipality Councillor Manish Shukla on Monday, the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has taken over the case.
The CID officials reached the spot in Titagarh of Barrackpore and collected evidence and has launched investigation into the case.
Two-bike borne assailants shot dead Manish Shukla on Sunday while he was speaking with some locals and party workers near a local police station.
