Kolkata: The Criminal Investigation Department on Thursday arrested a third accused in connection with the assassination of BJP councillor Manish Shukla. He was shot dead in front of Titagarh Police Station on October 4.
The arrested accused has been identified as Subodh Yadav.
The two others were earlier nabbed on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, widespread protests have been going on in West Bengal organised by the BJP and marching towards the Secretariat against the worsening law and order and repeated killings of the BJP workers allegedly by TMC goons.
