UP govt’s strict action: 23 accused of crime against women sentenced to life imprisonment in last 24 hours

Lucknow: In a major action against the criminals, CM Yogi Adityanath-led government sentenced 23 accused persons to life imprisonment in the last 24 hours.

The UP government had recently launched the ‘Mission Shakti’ to boost the morale of the women and prevent crime against them across the state.

According to a statement issued by the UP government, bails were cancelled in 49 cases while 28 criminals were thrown out of the district.
