Kannauj: Seven sadhus met with an accident in Amolar village of Kannauj district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The car they were travelling in overturned upon colliding with a road divider after its tire burst.
According to the police, the sadhus were on their way from Rajasthan to take a holy dip in the river Ganga. All the injured were admitted to the hospital.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed senior officials to reach the spot and provide all the necessary assistance.
