New Delhi : According to the report, Prime Minister’s Mathruvandan Yojana has so far deposited Rs.1600 crores in the accounts. The Center for Digital Financial Inclusion Report contains information.
58 lakh mothers enrolled in the scheme. So far Rs. 1604 crore rupees have been deposited to the accounts so far. 5000 rupees is deposited in three installments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the plan on December 31, 2016. The project was implemented on January 1, 2017. The earlier project was the Indira Gandhi Maternity Sahyog Yojana, it took eighteen months to three years to get the amount. This was done in only 53 districts.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Yojana has been implemented in all districts of the country. The money transferred quickly and directly to the account was very helpful to the mothers.
