New Delhi: Central Government has decided to launch 100 rupee coin with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s impression on it. A B Vajpayee passed away on 16th August this year.
The new coin will weigh 35 grams. It’s one side will carry the image of Vajpayee with his birth and death years. Vajpayee’s name will be inscribed both in Devanagari and English language. On the other side, Ashoka Pillar’s Lion Capitol with Satyameva Jayathe inscribed . And below the Ashoka symbol, the value of the coin,that is the digits 100 will be written.
