Islamabad: International reports said that, females in Pakistan are being forced to convert to Islam. At least 50 members from Hindu families in the province of Sindh are claimed to have converted. Reports state that 27 women and 23 girls had been forcefully converted as of now.
On April 26 a large crowd of members from the minority community had gathered at the Lahore Press Club. The leaders of the minority groups expressed that the temples and mosques in the country are being burnt and people are being killed for blasphemy.
According to reports, the leaders stated that in recent times there is an increase of crimes like these, such as deliberately executing three or four members of the minority and vandalism against Ahmadiya mosque.
Sindh which is the home to largest Hindu community of Pakistan, are under constant social and economic pressure and subjected to regular conversions.
