New Delhi: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has conducted raids at 13 locations in Madhya Pradesh as part of terror conspiracy case on Saturday. These locations in Jabalpur had connections with the accused involved in the conspiracy.

The NIA team launched the raid along with the Madhya Pradesh police. The NIA had arrested 10 people in connection with the case. A charge sheet was filed against them in the Bhopal court. The raid is being conducted to find more evidence against the accused. Six of those arrested in the case are Bangladeshi citizens and activists of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

The agency registered the case in April, last year. They distributed pamphlets and tried to collect funds for terrorist activities, after reaching India. The NIA is examining the documents related to this. The NIA concluded that the ten accused were aiming to attack the country. Digital gadgets (mobile phones), sim cards, bank passbooks, ID proofs etc were seized. The raid is being conducted in connection with this.
