Bhoppal: One more Cheetah has been released into Kuno National Park after completing quarantine. Now the number of cheetahs in the National Park is seven. A four year old female Cheetah named Neerva was the seventh one.
A decision about the release of remaining Cheetahs will be taken after an official discussion. The first batch of eight Cheetahs arrived in the country last year. The second batch with 12 Cheetahs arrived in February.
Cheetah named Jwala gave birth to four cubs at the Kuno National Park. But three of the cubs died earlier this month. Apart from these cheetah cubs, three of the 20 adult cheetahs- Daksha,Sasha and Uday, translocated from South Africa and Namibia had died at the National park
