Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government has ordered probe into the incident that Hindu girls were made to wear hijab. The school authorities made Hindu girls wear hijab through Photoshop on the flux board set up to felicitate the 18 students who performed well in the annual examination. It is reported that Mustaq Muhammad who runs Ganga Jamuna Higher Secondary School is behind the incident.
The school authorities made the children to wear Hijab regardless of their religion. The incident got public attention when the pictures were widely circulated on social media. In the preliminary investigation it was found that the school management was behind this. The government ordered a detailed investigation following this. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has also intervened in this matter.
Ganga Jamuna School had circulated pictures of Hindu children by forcing them to wear hijab several times before in the same manner. A Facebook post shows that Hindu girls were made to wear hijab even on the sports day too. These girls have not filed a complaint. It is believed that children are forced to wear hijab.
