Jaipur: During a public event in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, a senior Congress leader, expressed frustration by throwing a microphone at the district collector after it malfunctioned. The incident took place last Friday night when Gehlot was addressing a group of women regarding various developmental schemes implemented by the government. However, when the microphone failed to function properly, the Chief Minister grew visibly annoyed and impulsively threw it towards the Barmer district collector, who was standing nearby. Another working microphone was quickly provided to him thereafter.
As soon as the incident occurred, it was captured on video and rapidly spread across various social media platforms, swiftly garnering widespread attention and attracting criticism from the public.
Critics argue that the Chief Minister’s actions were unbecoming and lacked the professionalism expected from a leader. They emphasize the need for elected officials to maintain a calm demeanor, especially in public settings, irrespective of any unforeseen circumstances.
