New Delhi: Sam Altman, the creator of ChatGPT, has raised concern about the potential dangers if AI technology falls into the hands of dictators. He also said that the time is not far when they start to oppress people through it. During a visit to India, Altman spoke at an event organised by the Economic Times, where he expressed his opinion.
Sam said that dictators may use AI for their purposes, and he is concerned about that. Sam emphasised the need for a controlling system similar to the one in place for nuclear energy to prevent its misuse by dictators.
When asked about his opinion on the human mind after developing the ChatGPT, Sam said that he used to think intelligence was something very special and magical for humans. But now it seems that it is just a basic thing. Sam Altman scheduled a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
