New Delhi: The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) has launched the Amrit Generation Campaign to encourage the young generation. Smriti Irani, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, inaugurated the campaign. The initiative, which is being run in collaboration with Meta India, is intended for future citizens aged 16 to 18.
Addressing the gathering, Smriti said, “Our youth are the architects of tomorrow’s India. The Amrit Generation Campaign aims to engage, inspire, and nurture their aspirations, ensuring that they have the support and encouragement they need to realise their dreams. We are delighted to partner with Meta India for this meaningful initiative”.
Youth can share their creativity in the form of reels on Instagram and Facebook through the Amrit Generation Campaign. It will encourage the participants to explore their ambitions and think about what they aspire to become when they grow up. The hashtag Amrit Generation should be used while sharing reels. 50 selected people will get a special invitation to Delhi. They will also get the opportunity to interact with leading industrialists and eminent personalities in the country. The selected young citizens will also get the opportunity to visit the Meta office in Gurugram and learn about technology from industry leaders and creators.
