New Delhi :  A fierce fire erupted at Gandhi Market in New Delhi, triggering an urgent response from fire force units to contain the flames. The incident unfolded earlier this morning when a fire broke out in a plywood shop within the market premises. Although the blaze caused significant damage, prompt action by fire personnel and the deployment of 21 fire engines ensured that no casualties were reported.

The incident brought the bustling Gandhi Market to a standstill as flames consumed the plywood shop, sending plumes of thick smoke billowing into the air. Residents and shopkeepers in the vicinity were quick to alert emergency services, prompting a swift and coordinated response from the fire brigade.

Rajendra, the officer in charge of the firefighters  operation, revealed that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. As the firefighters continued to work diligently to extinguish the remaining embers, their priority was ensuring the safety of the market’s occupants and nearby residents.
