The gold was discovered concealed in his luggage, cleverly disguised as nuts and bolts. Officials have indicated that the recovered gold is estimated to weigh approximately 267 grams, and they are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
In a previous incident, customs authorities confiscated 2.3 kilograms of gold paste at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Similarly, customs intercepted the gold from the passenger arriving from Dubai, which ultimately led to his arrest.
