New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu is all set to arrive in Goa for a three-day visit. The President’s visit to Goa is driven by active participation in a range of state-organised public programmes. After making a visit to the Shantadurga Temple in Delhi, the President will head to Goa.
Upon arriving in Goa tomorrow, the President will participate in a civic reception at Raj Bhavan. The President is scheduled to attend the graduation ceremony of Goa University, which will be held at Raj Bhavan’s Durbar Hall. After the graduation ceremony, the president will address the Goan legislators. Additionally, the President will have discussions with representatives from marginalised communities living in coastal and forested areas.
After placing a wreath at the Martyr’s Memorial at Azad Maidan in Panaji, the President will participate in the program. The president’s visit also includes to the 17th-century Portuguese-built Fort Aguada in North Goa and a visit to the Bom Jesus Basilica church.
