New Delhi: Pro-Khalistan slogans have emerged at multiple metro stations within the capital city. Walls at various stations, including Shivaji Park, Madipur, Paschim Vihar, Udyog Nagar, Maharaja Surajmal, Govt Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya Nangloi, Punjabi Bagh, and Nangloi, have been marked with expressions endorsing Khalistan terrorism.
The messages, reading ‘Delhi Banyga Khalistan’ and ‘Khalistan Refrendom Zindabad,’ have been inscribed on structures across the national capital.
Authorities are pointing to the banned organisation “Sikhs for Justice” as the likely instigator behind this incident. The organisation has circulated a video showcasing the slogans at these metro stations. This move is believed to be an orchestrated effort by Khalistan proponents to seize public attention in the lead-up to the upcoming G20 summit scheduled in the capital city next month. The Delhi Police has confirmed the launch of a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
