New Delhi: Malayali Advocate K Parameshwar has been appointed as Additional Advocate General (AAG) to represent the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) in cases before the Supreme Court of India.
A notification of his appointment was issued by the UP government on August 14.
Parameshwar dis his schooling at Kochi Naval Public School and graduatde from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2007. He has been practicing in the Supreme Court for 16 years.
Notably, he has served as amicus curiae in numerous cases before the apex court. He also assisted Amicus Curiae Raju Ramachandran in the Nirbhaya gang rape case of 2012.
