Ladakh: Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has unveiled images depicting the renovation progress of the Kargil-Zanskar road. This showcases significant infrastructure developments in the region. The minister has released photographs showcasing the progress of the intermediate road connecting Kargil to Zanskar, a segment of NH-301 (National Highway 301). Union Minister X (Twitter) shared the pictures showing the quality of the construction.
Covering a total distance of 31.14 kilometers, this route holds significance. The minister emphasized that the enhancement of Ladakh’s transportation infrastructure is aligned with the objective of improving economic growth in the region. The upgraded highway will facilitate smoother freight movement and transportation, ensuring ease of access throughout the year. The minister highlighted that this improvement will lead to consistent traffic flow.
Undoubtedly, these developments will have a substantial positive impact on the local economy and the well-being of residents in the area.
