In a tragic incident that unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa district, a father took matters into his own hands to protect his daughter from persistent harassment by two individuals. Mehrban Singh, the father, who was later apprehended by police, killed the two young men, namely, Nandram Gurjar and Govind Gurjar.
The sequence of events began when Mehrban Singh’s daughter confided in her father about the continuous harassment she was enduring from these two young men. Despite Mehrban Singh’s stern warnings to the harassers to desist, they persisted in their troubling behaviour.
In response to his daughter’s distress, Mehrban Singh confronted the two young men while they were riding a motorcycle. He then forcibly brought them to his farm, where a tragic and fatal altercation occurred. The two young men, aged 20 and 22, lost their lives as a result of this confrontation, which transpired on a Saturday.
Mehrban Singh, the accused in this case, explained to the police that he took such drastic action to protect his daughter from the ongoing harassment by the two men. The crime scene bore evidence of the incident, with the victims’ damaged motorcycle and the accuser’s vehicle discovered nearby. Consequently, legal action has been initiated against Mehrban Singh, along with another individual named Ishwar, who is allegedly connected to the incident.
