Srinagar: In a significant operation in Srinagar, the police successfully dismantled a terrorist recruitment module operating in the Baramulla region of Jammu and Kashmir. This operation led to the arrest of four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who had been overseeing operations in the area. Among those apprehended were Latif Ahmed Dar and Shaukat Ahmed Lone, both natives of Najibhat, and Ishrat and Rasool, who hail from Pushnag.
During the operation, the police seized three hand grenades and 30 AK-47 guns from the terrorists. Law enforcement officials emphasized that all four arrested individuals have strong affiliations with Lashkar-e-Taiba. They were apprehended by the police as soon as they became active in terrorist activities.
Additionally, it has come to light that terrorists Umar Lone and FT Usman are also affiliated with this group. The police have initiated a search operation to locate them, and a case has been registered against the accused under the UA (P) Arms Act.
