After the global success of RRR, SS Rajamouli has unveiled another masterpiece on the silver screen, presenting the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, known as the father of Indian cinema. SS Rajamouli announced the film titled ‘Made in India,’ directed by National Award winner Nitin Kakar. Rajamouli has shared the movie teaser on the X platform. The biopic is produced by Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya, and Varun Gupta.
Rajamouli, known for directing blockbusters like RRR and Baahubali, will helm a film tracing the rise and fall of Indian cinema, as per reports. The film is set for an epic release on the big screen. When I first heard the description of the film, I was deeply touched. Making a biopic is challenging enough, but focusing on the father of Indian cinema adds an even greater level of complexity. But Indians are ready for it… I am so proud,” Rajamouli tweeted.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Rajamouli is all set to make a cameo appearance in Prabhas’ Kalki in 2898 AD. Rajamouli had previously made a cameo appearance in the first part of Baahubali. Additionally, he has also acted in a few commercials.
