Chennai: Southern Railway has introduced an exciting addition to its services with the launch of a new Vande Bharat Express connecting three major South Indian cities. This new Vande Bharat Express service is set to enhance connectivity between the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, making travel more convenient for passengers.
The Vande Bharat Express will operate on the route from Chennai to Bengaluru and then continue its journey from Bengaluru to Ernakulam.
The new service will commence its journey from Chennai Central, reaching Bengaluru at approximately 4 a.m., after which it will depart from Bengaluru at 4:30 a.m. Finally, the train will arrive in Ernakulam around noon.
The new Vande Bharat Express contains eight coaches with a total of 530 seats available to passengers. Among these seats, 52 are designed as executive seats. Additionally, in celebration of the festive season of Diwali, the railways have announced a special service to cater the travel needs of passengers during this occasion.
