Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to participate in the Vishwa Shanthi Maha Yagnam to be held at Asthika Samaj, popularly called ‘Kochu Guruvayoor’ in Mumbai

Mumbai: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of Art of Living Foundation, will participate in the Vishwa Shanthi Maha Yagnam to be held at Asthika Samaj at Matunga in Mumbai on 27th November, 2023. The centenary celebrations began on July 2023 and will continue till July 2024.

The Asthika Samaj or popularly known as ‘Kochu Guruvayoor’ is celebrating 100 years of its inception. The temple is a center of religious and cultural life of Mumbai. Devotees flock to the temple to worship Lord Sree Ramachandra, Sitadevi, Lakshmanan and Hanuman, who are consecrated in specially made Garbhagriha. Other deities include Lord Karthikeyan, the Navagrahas, Lord Kochu Guruvayurappan, and Swamy Ayyappan.

The Vishwa Shanthi Maha Yagnam will begin at 5.45 am and continue till 11 am on 27 November. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will perform the Poornahuthi.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will also deliver a speech about 8th Wonder of the World – The Unexplored Human Mind.

Purohits and scholars under the guidance of Brahmashri Gopu Vadhyar will perform the Vishwa Shanthi Maha Yagnam ceremony, which consists of eleven Homams.
