New Delhi: The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has initiated a significant change by renaming primary health centres and family health centres funded by Ayushman Bharat to ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’. The new name should be adopted along with the tagline ‘Arogyam Parmam Dhanam’. The Union Ministry of Health has issued an order about this alteration, and it should be completed by the end of December.
Names are to be displayed on flux boards if the health centres are not operating within their own buildings. The allocated funds for the renaming of existing health centres stand at Rs. 3,000 per centre. The photographs should be uploaded to the Ayushman Bharat portal. States have the option to translate the name change into their respective languages. But the tagline should not be changed.
