Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Maharashtra on Monday, December 4, in relation to Navy Day. His itinerary includes unveiling the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and participating in the ‘Navy Day 2023’ celebrations at Sindhudurg.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Maharashtra at 4.15 pm and will first reach Rajkot Fort and unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Following this, the Prime Minister will partake in the Navy Day festivities at Tarkarli Beach in Sindhudurg. The event will feature demonstrations by Navy ships, submarines, aircraft, and special forces.
Navy Day is celebrated on December 4 every year. On this occasion, an ‘Operational Demonstration’ is organised, showcasing the operational readiness and courage of Indian Navy ships, submarines, aircraft, and special forces.
