Chennai: Due to Cyclone Michaung, railway authorities have announced the cancellation of two trains destined for Chennai. The cancelled train services include the MGR Chennai Central SF Express (12686) and the Chennai Egmore Express (16160), both originally scheduled to depart from Mangaluru today.
To accommodate the prevailing weather conditions, adjustments have been made to the Mangaluru Central SF Express (12685). The train, initially set to depart from Chennai Central at 3.30 p.m. today, will now commence its journey from Tambaram. The train will pass through Chennai Egmore, Chennai Beach, and Perambur , with departure from Perambur scheduled for 4.20 p.m.
Furthermore, the Thiruvananthapuram Central SF Express (12695), originally scheduled to depart from Chennai Central, will now initiate its journey from Tambaram at 3 p.m. today.
