New Delhi: Bharat attains a remarkable milestone in fortifying its healthcare infrastructure and advancing healthcare excellence with the creation of over 1 crore during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, according to an official press release.
As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the cumulative footfall has surged to 1,31,66,365 through 79,487 Health camps held in 3,462 Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies to date.
Implemented under the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ayushman cards are generated using the Ayushman app, with physical cards being distributed to beneficiaries. The tally of distributed physical cards has exceeded 23,83,473.
Launched by the Prime Minister on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to extend the benefits of central government schemes nationwide. As part of the Yatra’s on-spot services, Health Camps are organized at the locations where the IEC Van halts in the Gram Panchayats.
