Dallas: Wesley Mathews, the Indian-American foster father of Sherin Mathews,gets a life sentence for the death of the three year old Sherin. Wesley can get a parole only after thirty years.
The verdict was produced by a court in Dallas. Sherin Mathews, adopted
from Bihar, was found dead in culvert near their home, in October 2017.
Sini, Sherin’s adoptive mother was charged with child abandonment case earlier, but the case was dismissed as the prosecutors could not find any proof against her.
