ISRO’s National Remote Sensing Centre invites applications for 41 vacancies

Hyderabad: The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), a part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, has announced openings for positions including Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’, Medical Officer ‘SC’, Nurse ‘B’, and Library Assistant ‘A’. The application process is currently ongoing, and candidates can submit their applications online at www.nrsc.gov.in until the deadline on February 12.

Vacancy Details: The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 41 vacancies. Among these, 35 positions are designated for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’, 1 for Medical Officer ‘SC’, 2 for Nurse ‘B’, and 3 for Library Assistant ‘A’.

Location of Posting: Successful candidates may be posted at various locations, including NRSC-Earth Station in Shadnagar campus (Rangareddy District, Telangana State), NRSC in Balanagar (Hyderabad), and Regional Remote Sensing Centres in Nagpur, New Delhi, Kolkata, Jodhpur, and Bengaluru.

Age Limit and Application Fee: The age limit varies for different positions. For the postcodes 06, 09, 13, 14, 15, and 16, the candidate’s age should be between the ages of 18 and 30 years. The candidate’s age should be between 18 and 28 years for postcodes 07, 08, 10, 11, and 12. For the postcodes 17, 18, and 19, the candidate’s age should be between 18 and 35 years. For detailed information, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification. The application fee is ₹250, with an additional non-refundable processing cost of ₹750.

Pay and Allowances: The recruited individuals will receive competitive pay and allowances, as follows:

  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: Rs 56,100-Rs 1,77,500
  • Medical Officer ‘SC’: Rs 56,100-Rs 1,77,500
  • Nurse ‘B’: Rs 44,900–Rs 1,42,400
  • Library Assistant ‘A’: Rs 44,900–Rs 1,42,400

Employees selected through ISRO recruitment 2024 will be governed under the National Pension System.

  1. Visit the official website at nrsc.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on “Recruitment for the posts of Scientist Engineer ‘SC’, Medical Officer ‘SC’, Nurse ‘B’, and Library Assistant ‘A’ (ADVERTISEMENT NO. NRSC-RMT-1-2024).”
  3. A new page will be displayed.
  4. Click on the Apply link.
  5. Fill out the application form and upload all the required documents.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
