New Delhi: BJP’s Parliamentary Party meeting was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi at the Parliament Library Building in New Delhi on Tuesday. Home Minister Amit Shah, Working President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, among other BJP leaders attended the meeting.
Sources have told that during the meeting PM Modi has urged the Members of Parliament to work extensively for the people and involve in social work. He also held discussions on animal husbandry asking MPs to help combat cattle diseases, among other problems. Furthermore, the Prime Minister has also told the MPs to work for the eradication of diseases like TB (Tuberculosis), leprosy etc and that India should be made TB free by the year 2025.
The meeting was attended by all Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and was convened by PM Modi. The meeting comes ahead of the beginning of day’s proceeding in the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Parliament.
