New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that during the Amrit Kaal, we have resolved to make our Bharat developed (Vikasit Bharat). The term ‘Amrit Kaal’ denotes the upcoming 25-year period marking Bharat’s 100 years of Independence anniversary in 2047.
Addressing a gathering at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on the occasion of Srila Prabhupada Ji’s 150th birth anniversary, the Prime Minister highlighted the surge of patriotism among millions of Indians entering the “Amrit Kaal.”
“Today, crores of countrymen have entered Amrit Kaal with the energy of patriotism, In this Amrit Kaal we have resolved to make our Bharat developed. We are moving forward considering the nation as God and taking the vision of the country from God, PM Modi said.
In his speech, PM Modi also paid tribute to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a revered 15th-century saint considered to be the combined avatar of Radha and Krishna.
Highlighting the World Vaishnav Convention held at Bharat Mandapam, where the essence of a new Bharat was showcased during the G20 Summit, the Prime Minister described it as a convergence of ‘Vikas’ (development) and ‘Virasat’ (heritage).
