Chennai: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said that all four accused arrested in the Coimbatore car bomb blast case are related to ISIS. All four had tried to recruit people to ISIS through social media, the NIA stated. Additionally, the NIA mentioned that religious education centers were used for recruiting purposes.
Jameel Basha Umari, Maulvi Hussain Faizy, Irshath, and Syed Abdur Rahman Umari were apprehended by the NIA on Sunday. Furthermore, six laptops, 34 phones, SIM cards, and hard disks were seized from the accused. It was also found that they provided assistance to Jamesha Mubin, the main accused in the Coimbatore car bomb blast case.
