New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) opened online registration to fill 9000 vacancies for technician posts on Saturday. Among these vacancies, 7,900 are designated for Technician Grade III signal, while 1,100 positions are allocated for Technician Grade I signal roles.
Selection for these positions will be conducted through a computer-based test. The window for application modification will be open from March 9 until April 8, 2024.
Candidates aged between 18 and 36 are eligible to apply for Technician Grade I signal positions, whereas candidates for Technician Grade III roles should be between 18 and 33 years old.
General category candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while candidates belonging to SC/ST, ex-servicemen, PwBD, females, transgender individuals, minorities, or economically backward classes will need to pay ₹250 as the application fee.
The notification has been published across 21 railway recruitment boards, and detailed information will be available on the RRB websites. Interested candidates can submit their applications until April 8.
