New Delhi : Vice President Venkaiah Naidu criticised Azam Khan and said that insulting women is not appreciated in our culture. He also said that abusing remarks made on women are degrading to democracy and should be avoided.
During the debate on Triple Talaq bill in the Lok Sabha session on Thursday, Azam Khan made obscene remarks against BJP MP Rama Devi.
Several MPs protested against Azam Khan’s remarks, but he refused to apologize. His response was that he had not said anything wrong.
