Kottayam: With just three weeks left until the Lok Sabha elections, a clash emerged within the UDF Kottayam District leadership. UDF District Chairman Saji Manjakadambil has resigned from his post. Saji stated that he resigned from the position of Kerala Congress District President and severed all ties with the party.
Saji told the media that his resignation was in protest against Kerala Congress (Joseph) faction MLA Mons Joseph’s authoritarian tendencies. “There are many instances. Lastly, during the submission of the nomination papers of the UDF candidate, I was neglected,” Manjakadambil told the media.
