Thiruvanandapuram : CM Pinarayi Vijayan is proud to trample the emotions of crores of devotees not only from Kerala but also from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Legally the sole ownership of the temple is upon the Devaswom board is the statement of Pinarayi Vijayan. The declaration of the Thanthri to close the temple with a breach in the custom was against the Court orders. The Panthalam Royal family’s properties were transferred to  travancore, later on this was transferred to the TDB. However no one from the Panthalam Palace has witnessed the covenant being signed. As of now nobody has any claim on the temple. Board has the complete right to make decisions on when to open and when to close the temple. Nobody’s claim for the authority of the temple will be entertained . CM warned the devotees and the rest of the supporters of the protest.  CM was kind enough to assure the authority of  Panthalam royal family that it has the rights only at the festive season of the temple.

The prayer protest by the thantris was to sabotage the court order, hence the TDB is instructed by CM to take actions against the protesters,Pinarayi explained.

The resistance by the devotees, was given credit to BJP as its agenda by CM. The government was trying to help the believers to visit the temple. The state had no choice but to protect the women who sought protection to enter the temple. The protesters actions blocked the devotees, claims CM who had ever visited the place affected! CM told of the truth that conscious efforts were made to make the sacred sanctum a war field. Criminals will be evacuated from the temple,he added.

Congress has alliance with BJP’s Agenda. Congress will be perished with such actions, advised CM in the Press conference.

Tens of thousands of devotees were in tension till last night. Ten women of menstrual age tried to enter Sabarimala during five days of the season. Pinarayi Government had given full support and protection to activists and non believers to enter Sabarimala so as to break the centuries old tradition and custom.
