Kottayam : Bindu, a non-believer, who tried to enter Sabarimala did commit a sin, admitted her parents here on Monday. Penance for their daughter’s action, Bindhu’s parents will ascend Sabarimala following all the rituals and traditions said Vasu and Thankamma, natives of Karukachal, Kottayam.
‘We have been true believers since our childhood. Bindhu’s actions are not justifiable, the feelings of the devotees are hurt and Bindhu has insulted the traditions and customs, Vasu and Thankamma told. They pleaded for forgiveness to the the Lord as well as to the devotees.
Bindhu works as a teacher at Kozhikode Govt.Higher Secondary School. Bindu had lead street meetings and other activities insulting and questioning Hindu traditions, rituals and customs, Which made it nearly impossible for her to defend herself as her claim to be a believer.
